Because you can never have enough hurt/comfort
[Clarissa is finally awake for the first time in hours, and the first thought that slowly pulls itself together through the sleepy and medicated haze is relief that she's not in the hospital. The world is blurred as she looks around, bleary and disorientated, but the lack of white and sterility around her is comforting. Just because she's spent so much of her life in and out of hospitals doesn't mean she doesn't hate them.
It had been a horrible few days, Clarissa knows that much, but thankfully she doesn't remember most of it. She does remember the ditch, and how she had begun falling before she had even realised there had been anything to fall into. She remembers how her head had struck something hard on the way down and how there had been a horrible, tearing pain in her side, more terrible than she thinks she's ever experienced, before she had blacked out.
What she doesn't remember is being found by a pair of Pokemon trainers who had happened to be passing and dragged to the island's only clinic, nor being sent straight into extensive surgery to remove the bits of tree-branch impaled in her side. But she remembers being briefly conscious in the clinic before falling back into medically-induced sleep.
...And now she's here, on the sofa in her own home, in her well-worn pull-over hooded sweatshirt and with one of the scruffy spare blankets over her. Right now that's all she cares about...although, there was one other thing...but right now she can barely think straight and is just tempted to fall straight back to sleep...]

He's annoyed that she just had to be a damsel in distress and get herself into this situation. But even more annoying is the fact that he was worried sick about her and barely slept. Add to that realizing how she must have felt when he got captured and needed rescuing...well, suddenly him calling her a damsel doesn't hold much weight, does it? At least her peril was an accident.
He'd taken her home and set her up on the couch so she could rest properly and then flopped onto his own bed, trying to catch up on the sleep he'd missed. After about an hour's rest he decided to go check up on her.]

Ugh...less dead, I guess.

You should've been more careful. [Criticizing is the only way he can show concern right now okay] You'd think someone who's gotten herself in trouble as much as you would know better by now.

Didn't even see it, okay... [The ditch, she means.] ...What the hell happened...?

'Told you, I didn't see the damn ditch, okay? Stupid frickin' island putting...holes everywhere... The hell am I supposed to even do until this stuff heals? [Other than sleep even more, that is.]

After a couple of seconds she looks back, still keeping her head mostly turned away but looking at Silver out of the corner of her eye.]
...You look like crap. [It's just an observation, albeit a rude one.
Surely he wasn't that—? ...Nah, he couldn't have been, right?]

...Why didn't you sleep?
[Clarissa's not stupid (okay, maybe a little stupid) — she knows why, but it's just...odd, that's all. She's not used to having anyone be concerned for her anymore, and to have Silver worry to the point he'd even not sleep is even more surprising. So she wants to hear it said for her self, even if she expects she won't get to, knowing Silver and all.]

...Somehow this makes her feel...really happy.
She manages a smirk, going in straight with the obvious; she's still quieter than usual and sounds about as worn-out as she looks, but manages to have that grating teasing tone as per usual.]
You weren't worried about me, were you?

You're an idiot!

Her gaze softens a little, as does her tone.]
...Come 'ere.
[Normally she'd just pull him over but somehow she doubts trying to get up to reach him would have a much better effect on her than laughing did...]

...Plus consider it thanks for caring enough to worry about her. Or something.]

Then again, she's recovering from a rather serious injury and Silver's not enough of a dick to make it WORSE by being rough with her.]
