[Clarissa is finally awake for the first time in hours, and the first thought that slowly pulls itself together through the sleepy and medicated haze is relief that she's not in the hospital. The world is blurred as she looks around, bleary and disorientated, but the lack of white and sterility around her is comforting. Just because she's spent so much of her life in and out of hospitals doesn't mean she doesn't hate them.

It had been a horrible few days, Clarissa knows that much, but thankfully she doesn't remember most of it. She does remember the ditch, and how she had begun falling before she had even realised there had been anything to fall into. She remembers how her head had struck something hard on the way down and how there had been a horrible, tearing pain in her side, more terrible than she thinks she's ever experienced, before she had blacked out.

What she doesn't remember is being found by a pair of Pokemon trainers who had happened to be passing and dragged to the island's only clinic, nor being sent straight into extensive surgery to remove the bits of tree-branch impaled in her side. But she remembers being briefly conscious in the clinic before falling back into medically-induced sleep.

...And now she's here, on the sofa in her own home, in her well-worn pull-over hooded sweatshirt and with one of the scruffy spare blankets over her. Right now that's all she cares about...although, there was one other thing...but right now she can barely think straight and is just tempted to fall straight back to sleep...]

[Silver hadn't come home.

That was how it had started. Clarissa hadn't been worried. Annoyed? Yes. The nerve of it, Silver disappearing early morning and not letting her know that he was going to be out for hours. Surely it was just courteous to let the person you lived with know if you wouldn't be coming home, right? She had stewed on it and quickly forgotten about it again, going on with her own damn day. It wasn't until it began to get late and Silver wouldn't pick up her calls on his PokeGear that Clarissa began to...not even worry, not yet. No, she just grew angrier and more impatient...until she got the call.

A ransom note, that's what the Grunts had to show her when had she reached base, out of breath from running and demanding to know the situation. That's when concern kicked in. Not just concern, either. Panic. With the Executives MIA and nor the time nor the patience to sit around and play hostage politics Clarissa had ordered her Grunts to her and they had set out. It would be against anyone else's best interests, but with the knot of rage and panic in her stomach Clarissa isn't willing to do anything but tear whoever took the heir— Silver apart.

...Mercifully their opposition is a manageable one. A slapdash gang of rogue trainers-come-bounty hunters. Potentially a force to be wary of...but not a patch on bona fide Team like Rocket, as hoped. Unorganised petty thugs who don't know their damn place... Clarissa sees their members falling to her Team's numbers and brutality as she tears through the run-down network of below-ground corridors as she searches desperately for Silver. The floor shakes with explosions from other areas of the building as this small portion of Team Rocket puts the teams ridiculous supply of Electrodes and Voltorbs to use as retribution for this group's insult against theirs. Normally she would love to join in with the carnage but right now all she can focus on is finding Silver, pelting through the building and taking-out any members she runs into on the way with Blastoise and Clefairy.]

[It's amazing how one exchange can ruin your whole day, even if you're not directly involved.

Silver was actually feeling pretty okay. He'd been training, his Pokemon were strong and getting stronger, and the weather wasn't too bad on the CMA. He thought today would be a decent day after all.

Then he'd overheard another him talking to a Giovanni and made the mistake of listening. This Giovanni was gruff, but much kinder and more fatherly than the Giovanni Silver had known for ten years. Father and son, talking in a civil manner and bonding.

It was the exact opposite of the relationship Silver had with his father, and hearing every bit of it hurt. Fighting back tears, he stormed away into a forest, not wanting any more reminders of what he'd never have and never would have with Giovanni.]

[After a rather eventful night Clarissa has finally woken up. The unfamiliar room she finds herself in and the fact there's another person in the bed with her result in a moment of disorientated panic before the memories of last night come seeping back through the sleepy haze.

Considering how late a night it was and all the chaos that led up to it, she's actually feeling very well-rested and refreshed, though the amount of sunlight filtering in from around the seams of the curtains alerts her to how late she and her host must have slept, and her ankle still pangs every time she moves it. More sleep sounds like a good thing, so she'll go back to clutching the bundle of duvet in her arms (which she went back to clinging to instead of Silver sometime before waking up) and closes her eyes again.]

[it's been a bad day, and not just the usual kind. He woke up cranky, burned breakfast as usual, and his Pokemon picked up on his bad mood so they weren't even in the mood to train. So Silver's had nothing to do but sit around and think, which was not a good idea. Why? Because his thoughts turned to a place he'd rather they didn't. Which means he's wandering aimlessly around the forest, depressed and angry and in a generally shitty mood.]
