Breaking into yo house, sleeping in yo bed, intruding in all yo private places

[After a rather eventful night Clarissa has finally woken up. The unfamiliar room she finds herself in and the fact there's another person in the bed with her result in a moment of disorientated panic before the memories of last night come seeping back through the sleepy haze.

Considering how late a night it was and all the chaos that led up to it, she's actually feeling very well-rested and refreshed, though the amount of sunlight filtering in from around the seams of the curtains alerts her to how late she and her host must have slept, and her ankle still pangs every time she moves it. More sleep sounds like a good thing, so she'll go back to clutching the bundle of duvet in her arms (which she went back to clinging to instead of Silver sometime before waking up) and closes her eyes again.]

[...Of course. Clarissa bangs her fist against the door.]

[bang all you want, he's still not gonna open it and you're sure as hell not gonna break it]

[Clarissa kicks the door angrily before turning around and leaning against it. She lets herself slide down to the floor, sitting with her back pressed to the wood, leg with the injured foot sprawled out and the other one tucked up close to her.]

I'm not leaving until you come out!

Why? So you can make fun of me some more? You really are a bitch. [he can't believe he actually thought she was cute or let her share his bed]

Tch! Who knew you were so damn sensitive...look, just open up! You really are acting like a brat.

[nameissilver]

...shut up! [he glares at the picture staring up at him from the floor. So what if he looks stupid...it's the only decent memory he has of Dad and she had no right to mock it or even look at it]

...Why's this such a big deal to you, anyway?

[nameissilver]

You wouldn't understand.

[bandagedbandit]

It's just a photo! [Again with that.]

[nameissilver]

You don't get it. It's- [no, self, we are NOT gonna explain why it's such a big deal. Forget it] Try to figure it out for yourself.

[bandagedbandit]

[No. We're going to try and provoke you into explaining it. Let's test the waters a bit.] Why, because it has your dad on it? It's still just paper.

[congratulations, you got it in one. Silver punches the bed in frustration, fighting back tears]

Fuck you, and get the hell out of my house before I pick you up and throw you out!

[hey, you think he fucking enjoys it?]

...I just do! [he doesn't like it when other people know about his Daddy Issues and that photo is a big part of them]

[Because Clarissa doesn't already know the whole scope on the Daddy Issues thing from the last time Silver blew up about it, nope...

Clarissa sighs and lapses into silence, pressing her head back against the door. She remains quite for a little while, before she finally speaks again.]

You might've looked cute in it, y'know. ...Sort of. Dumb...but cute.

[He was hoping she'd forgotten about it, but no such luck. Life doesn't work out the way you want it to, Silver!

At that "cute" he lifts his head up a little]

...I was five.

[bandagedbandit]

[Nope, no it doesn't. Especially not when you're dealing with Clarissa. Like she'd forget something like that so easily.]

Huh. Your hair was even more ridiculous then than it is now... [Her tone still has a snarky, amused edge to it, but it's softer than before.]

[Damn it all!]

Yeah, well. It...it was Ariana's idea, mostly. She tended to act like my mom at times even though she wasn't even related to me. Guess she pitied me cause my mom's dead.

[bandagedbandit]

[There's another long silence on the other side of the door.]

...So that's how it is. [There's little change in Clarissa's tone to reflect Silver's rather personal revelation.] ...Tch, Ariana has worse taste in hairstyles than I'd've expected...

The picture's still the only decent memory I have of him, though.

[Clarissa sighs to herself. To her it's still just a photograph. It's still little but a sheet of paper with an image on it, but...if it's the only good memory the kid has of his dad then she can at least understand why it means so much to Silver.]

It's not like it suddenly means less just 'cause I looked at it, y'know.

[nameissilver]

[sighs, curling up into a ball on his bed]

Well, what if someone you weren't all that fond of found your weak spots? Wouldn't you be humiliated?

[bandagedbandit]

[Snort.] Please. Like I don't know all about your daddy issues already! It's not like this is anything new.

[Also surely this is only fair seeing as Silver did see her at her lowest ebb only a short time ago...]

Yeah, and that's bad enough! You seeing the picture just makes it worse!

[and he was hoping there wouldn't be any repercussions for THAT...]
