[...She had better not bring up how many times she's tripped over, walked into doors, stumbled on the stairs, etcetera, just in the few days just before finding out the news. Surely she'd know if something had happened to the kid, though. (...Right?)

Her gaze drops down to the side and she scowls at the floor.]

The outlandish comment will earn an odd look from Clarissa. She'll remain quiet for a moment, before she huffs and rolls her eyes.]

...Whatever. Just don't be a pain in the ass about it.

[She closes the gap between them and wraps her arms around Lance, resting her head against his chest. She's not ready for this whole kids thing. ...But if she's making this decision she's going to have to be. At least knowing Lance is there makes her feel better about this than she thought it would — a little, anyway.]
