[You know, explosions are always quite nice to watch. In fact, Genesis wouldn't even interfere if it weren't for the fact that the city you're blowing up happens to contain his bonded human in it. He can't let Skyla get killed, now can he? No, that certainly wouldn't do, it might actually hurt him.]

[Ah, Unova! Deoxys is extra thrilled to be exploding things here of all places - this is the region that gets attacked by the main Big Bads in films, after all! He feels rather privileged, actually. Castellia City is the next place on his list when he's done leveling this one...assuming he doesn't get interrupted. Deoxys senses the on-coming attack and just barely shifts into Defense Forme in time to block the brunt of Techno Blast. Damn is that hot, though. It seems like he has some opposition? Well. That will just make this all the more big-screen worthy, wont it?

Deoxys charges up Hyperbeam and unleashes it earthward at the newcomer. Let him see how worthy an opponent this will be!]

[Hyper Beam really doesn't faze Genesis any, he takes the blow and shakes it off with ease. Being a Steel-type really has its advantages. Now that he's able to get a closer look at you, he realizes that oh, you're a familiar face. A Deoxys, right? Yes, of course he's right. And since Deoxys is a Psychic-type...]

[2x weakness with added STAB...FUCKING OW. Even being in Defense Form doesn't stop that causing a sizable amount of damage. Deoxys reels from the attack for a second before switching to Attack Forme and retaliating with Superpower.]

[Ah, a Fighting-type move. It's a good thing he's part-Bug-type, then! Genesis takes the hit - though it's quite a strong one. He won't be able to take much more of that. Still, he doesn't seem fazed and again unleashes another X-Scissor. Spamming super effective moves? Yes please.]

[Deoxys wobbles in the air and his body seems to waver for a moment, before reverting to human forme from the shock of the attack. That hurt a lot, and it's questionable as to how long he'll be able to keep this up if Genesect keep firing off such hard-hitting, super effective moves. Deoxys grits his teeth and glares nastily at the enemy.]

Cheater! Don't button-mash!

[Translation: don't spam moves! ...which is exactly what this hypocrite is going to do now. Deoxys shifts into Speed Forme and with obscene agility streaks down through the air to circle Genesect, every few loops blipping from one side of the circle to the other, attempting to smash the foe in the middle with another Superpower each time.]

[My, my, what is that? A human form? How odd! Genesis would have taken his human form as well - it makes communicating so much easier - but too late, the other Pokemon launches Superpower again and again. Genesis takes each hit well enough, responding with X-Scissor whenever he can. That speed form sure is difficult to hit.]
