Sci-fi Villain Deoxys | Pokemon OC
Re: Sci-fi Villain Deoxys | Pokemon OC
is he a part of black armswhat is with his hair. :y]All my OCs are chronically under-iconed
But what about you, spiky little stripy...thing? Friend or foe? When in doubt, shoot first and ask questions later: one fiery purple ball of psychic energy heading your way!]
GJSDKHGJKHG awww it's okay <3
Shadow easily dodged the orb, sliding away from it in a skid with his air shoes. With his left palm to the ground, the rest of him more erect and poised for action, his spines flared. It's an instinctive, aggressive response.
Keep your guard up, Shadow.]
You... Who are you to charge me?
no subject
Who are you? I think it's important for your well-being that you tell me that first, hm? [He's the one with the whole mind-balls of doom thing going on up here.]
no subject
Not that he remembered that or anything. Just an example.
He kept himself tensed, ready to move and utilize the one Chaos Emerald he had on hand. Red eyes beamed up at him, not positively, but with fire lacing its color.
He was ready for a fight if he had to endure one.]
I am Shadow. That is all I care to tell you.
no subject
He flips the right way up, coming down a little closer while still maintaining a relatively cautious distance.]
What? You're not entertaining at all. Why so serious?
no subject
[Shadow stood straight again, his stare and his defenses not yet wavering, holding strongly together like a brick wall re-enforced by government quality alloy walls.
He was good at keeping himself locked down, in mind and in body. He wasn't about to speak a single thing of himself to this lunatic unless it was absolutely necessary, and there was not a sliver of evidence that proved it obligatory.
Thus, he remained high, tall, and sturdy.
Just like a wall.]
It is hardly amusing.
Sorry for the delay, I got distracted by Clarence icons
Hm? I don't know if it's amusing or not yet. I won't know until you talk. Why so uncivil?
nooo rushies, take your time! <3333
Why so uncivil? Are you implicating that you find surprise attacks launched against unknown entities 'civil'?
Tch. [He lifts his snout with a holier-than-thou air enveloping him all too naturally.] Pathetic. Show me civility, and I may consider reciprocating it.
<333
The look on the alien's face sours, and though a flicker of mischievousness somehow manages to linger in that expression, the look in his eyes has darkened. He leans back further in the air, closing his eyes as if in contemplation for a moment before fixing them back on Shadow.]
I'm just doing my job. I can't help that. I thought not killing you on sight was a kind enough gesture, but... [He holds his hand out in front him, watching jolts of raw purple energy spark between his fingers.] Some people are never satisfied.

It would have been too embarrassing if he had wanted to be helpful and eded up unpacking the box with her underwear or something.
But, that was in the past. She had told him about her new place an hour ago, and as she unlocked the door she couldn't help but hum. it was a relief, not having to keep even a small secret like this from Deoxys.]
no subject
But Yako's house? Now that was a different thing entirely. He felt safe with her, and...well...it was Yako's house! He wanted to see how she lived, see what human knicknacks she surrounded herself with! So of course, when she had told him about her new apartment how could he resist? It's not like he had much to do without Yako, and even if he did it could easily be put aside for her.
And so, he's here, nice and prompt. He reaches for the door handle and stops. What was it humans did before entering a house? They...knocked? Deoxys' stands with his hand hovering awkwardly in the air for a second, before reaching out and rapping on door uncertainly.]
no subject
You're here! Come in, come in.
[She steps back to let him in. The apartment itself is a decent size for a single woman, and decorated tastefully enough. There are more than a few traces of her alien friend lying around, however; a blanket folded over the couch, striped in the colors of his true form, a wind chime by the window made of pieces of crystal and glass just a shade off from the gem in his chest, little treasures found by the sea...small things, but well-loved all the same.]
no subject
Did you get your decor inspiration from anywhere in particular, hm?
no subject
Mm...a little, maybe. I like to have reminders of the things I love the most.
no subject
[He pushes the cushions back into place and straightens up, walking over to Yako and looping his arms around her neck before giving her a peck on the forehead.]
So. Are there any other rooms to see, or just this one?
[How do human dwellings work, etcetera.]
no subject
[She ticks them off as she leans back against him, feeling strangely shy when she hit the last one. They might not be the same species, but Deoxys was arguably male right now, and it felt...weird, thinking of him poking aroumd her bedroom.]
no subject
So many choices. I don't know which to see first — I suppose I'll let you decide, okay, darling? Lead the way!
[He'll release his arms and slide away so that she can, in fact, lead.]
no subject
She takes his hand and tugs him along.]
The kitchen's closest! That's where I store and prepare and eat food.
no subject
I should have guessed you would show me the room to do with food first. You're so obvious, Yako.
[He allows himself to be tugged and trails obediently after her, still looking this way and that as they advance toward their exciting new destination. There's too much to take in, and Deoxys wants to take in all of it. Seeing Yako's home was like getting to see lots of little pieces of her that he hadn't seen before.]

@Yako / stargazing!
[If the sight of Deoxys waving excitedly from the top of the darkened hill isn't enough to draw Yako up there, the picnic basket under his arm might be. Tonight was supposed to be a special occasion, so after bursting in on Yako to tell her to meet him in the park after sunset, he had made a rare venture into the shopping district. Human supermarkets have too much activity and not enough space, the isles making him feel caged, but he had finally managed to locate some of Yako's favourite foods. He'd wanted to surprise her, until he'd gotten in a heated argument with security over the issue of money for the goods he was trying to walk out the store with, only for Yako to arrive on the scene and end up paying anyway...
Still, nothing else can go wrong—the summer night's sky is clear and full of stars.]

Deoxys! I wanted to ask a favor. Is that okay?
no subject
Hm? Of course it is, sweetheart. Ask away.
no subject
...would it be okay if you went to bed with me? I don't like sleeping alone. If! If that's okay with you!
[She turns her gaze to him while trying not to blush. Wow why was she so self conscious? It wasn't like she hasn't spent a lot of time alone with him before.]
