Then how about me?

[Again the words are blunt but sincere. Deoxys' grey-white eyes remain fixed and unblinking on Yako's face, his own expression nothing but completely serious. For now he doesn't move from where he's standing, just watching her and waiting for her reaction.]

Deoxys...

[Yako is honestly at a loss for words. She can't tell him that she has never thought of him that way or that it is completely out of the question, because she doesn't want to lie to him. So she takes a deep breath, bites her lip, and tries another route.]

I won't take advantage of you like that.

[Deoxys' eyes widen and he blinks, clearly taken aback. He shakes his head and places his hand over his heart.]

Thoughtful as always, Yako. But you wouldn't be.

[He takes a couple of steps closer to her, his hand still resting ernestly at his chest.]

I want this. I know I'm not— [He falters as something resembling...pain, maybe, flashes across his face.] I know I'm not human, sweetheart. I don't quite tick the same as you do. But I know I can still please you — it would make me happy to.

But...it's not fair. And...wouldn't you feel disgusted or something?

[Yako knows he isn't exactly humanity's biggest fan for a lot of reasons, but fir some reason he had always held her apart from it. She...didn't want him to be disgusted by her.]

Disgusted by you?

[She's the one who defied his fears and showed him such kindness when he was broken and alone in that storage container. She's the one who he's watched grow from a curious child into the beautiful young woman she is now. He doesn't think there's any side to her he can't have seen.

He reaches out and cups her face in his hands, stroking her cheek with his thumb; there's intense warmth in his eyes as he smiles at her.]

Never.

[She leans into his hold, and maybe she's just weak against him, but she's wanted him in some way or another since she first met him. He was her first crush, and maybe that never really fully went away, because she gives in.]

...we can try. But the moment you're uncomfortable, please, please tell me.

[Grinning widely, he gives a slight nod.]

Whatever you say, sweetheart. Only, I expect you to do the same, okay?

[He leans down and captures Yako's mouth in a loving kiss. He's always wanted this — of course he's stolen playful kisses from Yako since her teens, but to really kiss her like he means it? This is the first time.]

[She responds almost immediately, and a bit of her concern that he's only doing this for her sake is assuaged. Her fingers lace through his hair, drawing him closer. A small part of her hopes he hasn't been practicing this with anybody else.]

[She needn't worry. The science fiction genre loves its romance between human protagonists, so to put it a little oddly Deoxys has been watching love scenes all his life. ...And, well, a little research into other genres when he started to feel the desire to do the same things to Yako has taught him a surprising amount. But he'd never dream of doing this anything this intimate with another human; like Yako already knows, he really isn't her species' biggest fan.

He allows the kiss to linger a little longer before reluctantly breaking it off and pulling away from Yako...just so that he can join her on the bed, of course — sitting or (preferably) lying down with Yako for kisses seems more productive than having one of the two of them standing. He stretches his long body out atop the duvet and pats the space next to him, signalling for Yako to come join him.]

[At some point her eyes had slipped shut. Now they open, and as she takes in the scenes, she just barely limits herself to a smile. Deoxys wouldn't take laughter very well, no matter how adorably cliched his current pose happened to be. She follows him easily enough, scooting so she's right up against him.

She takes a moment to just look at him, her smile growing soft and affectionate, before leaning up to press a soft, lingering kiss to his lips. It's a bit startling, how good it feels to finally act on these feelings.]

[He gives a contented sigh and wraps his arms around her, keeping her close to him as he returns the kiss. It feels good for him too, to be able to hold her and kiss her like this — just being able to make Yako happy and show her how much she means to him is enough, but he's wanted the affection and the intimacy too. He squeezes her a little tighter, soaking in the feeling of having her warm, soft body pressed against his.]

[It takes her a moment to summon up enough courage, but she decides to try something a little less innocent. It isn't that she doesn't believe him, she just wants to be absolutely certain that he's okay with these sorts of things before they go any further. So, almost shyly, she shifts her head to get a better angle and opens her mouth. She runs her tongue over his lower lip, hoping he'll understand what she's trying to do.]

[There's just a slight pause on Deoxys' end, but he quickly recovers. Actually kissing someone in real life is entirely different to watching a fictional couple kiss on the big screen, (or rather, in the dreams sparked by the signals from the satellites orbiting the same planet as he. But, you know...details) and it's taking just a little to adjust to this.

But, inexperience aside, he must surely pass Yako's test when he catches her own upper lip, sucking on it gently before he tentatively presses his tongue into her mouth.]

[Yako makes a soft, sweet sound when he does that, so it's safe to say that she approves of his response. She's only done this sort of thing once or twice, mostly as part of Truth or Dare at parties. So she doesn't have a whole lot of experience, but still enough to know to slide and twine her tongue around his.

She keeps at it for a few more minutes, before she pulls back in order to get some much needed air. Her cheeks are flushed, and her eyes seem a bit glossed over.]

So...still okay?

Couldn't be better, sweethe—

[Deoxys takes one look at Yako's flushed cheeks and glazed over eyes and frowns. He bring up a hand and presses the back of it lightly to the side of her face.]

Are you? You haven't suddenly come down with a sickness, have you?

What...?

[It takes her a beat before she understands what he must be talking about. She laughs, a bit embarrassed, and her cheeks darken.]

Oh. Oh, no, that's... that's, um not sickness. It's a sign of...of arousal, in humans.

Arousal...?

[...

Oh.

It's Deoxys turn to take a puzzled moment while his brain whirrs — he knows (roughly) what arousal is, yet he's only seen her like this when she's been unwell. So were being sick and being aroused similar, or...? No, that wasn't right, was it? Eventually the cogs stop turning and he reaches the correct conclusion, breaking into laughter himself.]

Then that's all right! I'm relieved; I am sorry, Yako.

[Still grinning a little sheepishly he leans back in for more kisses — now, where were they?]

No need to be sorry; it's a, um, good thing. Really.

[Still laughing lightly, she shakes her head and moves to press a few affectionate kisses to his cheeks.]

[He chuckles, ruffling her hair playfully. He knows he's kind of thrown the mood off track, so he tries to regain a little seriousness, pressing his mouth back to Yako's in an unobtrusive kiss.]

[She responds eagerly enough, now feeling confident enough to hook one leg over his hip. She wanted to be as close to him as possible.]

[Carefully, he pushes her onto her back so that he's lying on top of her, his legs either side of one of hers. He pushes his tongue back into her mouth while his hand drifts downward to hold her waist.]

[She does her best to make it easy for him, and wraps her arms around his neck. She follows his lead with the kiss too, letting him explore on his own.]

[He begins to move his hand slowly over her body, his long fingers spread wide as he explores every inch of her, taking in every subtle curve and the the way her chest rises and falls with each breath. He continues to traverse her blouse until his hand reaches her breast.

He traces his palm over the soft curve before he presses his hand to it, squeezing it gently; there's something pleasing in the softness and how the shape yields to his touch.]

Mn...!

[A small, vulnerable noise works its way out of her throat when he does that, and she arches up reflexively into his hand. It's strange, having larger, stronger hands on her like that, but good. Definitely, definitely good.

Her cheeks are red again, and her fingers curl against his neck. She doesn't want him to stop and worry over whether he hurt her or something, so she tries to communicate her approval by taking control of the kiss and deepening it.]

[Yako's message gets through, and Deoxys dares to make his touch slightly firmer, experimenting with massaging and kneading over the fabric with his fingers. Meanwhile he further deepens the kiss, easing his other hand under Yako so it can rest at the small of her back.]
