[She'd only come over to deliver the (adorable) cake she'd picked up from that new posh little bakery down the road. Maybe stay five minutes more or so just to chat, if she could afford the time. That was supposed to have been it. Kelly has about a million other things on her schedule for today, but...somehow it's difficult to care about that when she's wrapped comfortably in the arms—uh, tentacles, of the guy she likes most. Tako knows just how to squeeze all her concerns away and bring her back to being herself, for a little while. It's hard to resist.

Kelly presses another kiss to Tako's face, grinning a little as she brushes her fingers through his hair.]

...You know, it's been twenty minutes. I think my next appointment is going to be very late.

[Not that her tone suggests she's going anywhere.]
