[She'd only come over to deliver the (adorable) cake she'd picked up from that new posh little bakery down the road. Maybe stay five minutes more or so just to chat, if she could afford the time. That was supposed to have been it. Kelly has about a million other things on her schedule for today, but...somehow it's difficult to care about that when she's wrapped comfortably in the arms—uh, tentacles, of the guy she likes most. Tako knows just how to squeeze all her concerns away and bring her back to being herself, for a little while. It's hard to resist.

Kelly presses another kiss to Tako's face, grinning a little as she brushes her fingers through his hair.]

...You know, it's been twenty minutes. I think my next appointment is going to be very late.

[Not that her tone suggests she's going anywhere.]

[She laughs softly, resting her chin in the crook of his neck and nuzzling her face against him so her words come out a little muffled.]

I'm not perfect, you know that. ...I just pretend to be.

[Tako's perfect. Around him, Kelly can feel safe to be her actual self. ...But her actual self is blunt and sharp of tongue, and Tako is...Tako. She's sure she hurts him, sometimes. She kisses his neck, breathing in the warming smell of his skin and his hair.]

I'm glad you can love me. ...I love you too. Tentacles and all.

S'what makes you perfect t'me.

[ his voice is soft, as he raises his right tentacle to rest on her head again. he's sure to do so carefully, not wanting to put his full weight on her. ]

All of you, how you are, how you try to be, how you try not t'be. I love that. I love you. [ he places a kiss to her forehead. ]

...'m not that good at this mushy stuff. Heheh.

[Tako's words lock Kelly into a stunned silence, and it's all she can do to keep herself from tearing up a little. No one's ever told her anything like that before. Her own voice is soft (perhaps too controlled) when she finally replies to him.]

...You're always so sweet.

[She appears above him again, her hand at his cheek as she moves her face close to his. Her lips linger almost hesitantly above his for a moment, barely brushing against them until she finally makes the connection. The kiss is slow and intensely meaningful, all the gratitude she feels for Tako that she's unable to put into words.]

[ he wraps his 'arms' around her neck, and two 'legs' around her waist in an embrace. the soft top of one of his other leg-tentacles brushes against her leg in what he hopes is a soothing manner, with his suckers not latching on.

she means so much to him. he doesn't know how he managed to find someone like her - someone who accepted him. he was so thankful, and he'd do anything to keep her happy, anything to show her how much she meant to him. he keeps his eyes closed, mirroring the feeling in her kiss with his own. ]

[Kelly's hand is still at Tako's cheek, while the other moves to rest upon one of Tako's arm-tentacles. Her whole body relaxes into his as she focuses on the kiss and the soothing touch of Tako's tentacles stroking against her. She doesn't dwell on it for how much she's enjoying this moment, but...that's the thing, she is, actually, enjoying it. Any lingering anxiety about being here with Tako has slipped from her mind, leaving her to feel perfectly comfortable in his hold. She dares to deepen the kiss, pressing her tongue a little way in Tako's mouth.]

[ he feels the intent behind her action, and feels nervous again. he'd like to please her, but he worries if he actually can like...this. he's worried, but he knows nothing will come from this if he runs away from the situation like usual. and he wants to do this. wants to be with her...and Kelly seems to too.

so he matches her actions, tongue pressing and tangling with Kelly's own, as his grip on her tightens slightly. ]

[When Tako returns the gesture it's pleasantly dizzying and Kelly's heart beats faster, her breathing becoming a little heavier. It's hard to resist pushing things further, but she holds back. She doesn't want to risk scaring Tako off...and if she takes things too fast she might wig herself out, this is still new for her as well. She keeps the kisses slow and steady, every now and then giving a pleased little gasp or moan to let Tako know he's doing just fine, that she appreciates what he's doing.]

[ he likes the noises she makes - they're new territory, but he finds himself spurred onward by them, even though he cant really...get aroused in this body like he would with his more human lower half.

he's careful not to startle her, and carefully lifts her up so she can sit on top of his 'lap'. the pink tentacles make a nice soft sitting spot, plus he can wrap a tentacle around her waist, and rest one of her leg again, faintly rubbing at the skin of her thigh. ]

[It really is very comfortable, though the combination of the position she's now in and the teasing sensation of Tako rubbing her thigh easily feeds the intense warm feeling building low in her belly. She wraps her arms around Tako's neck and leans against his chest with a content sigh. She's happy to stay like this, but there's something she thinks she should check.]

So are you okay with this? I don't mind stopping if you become uncomfortable...

[He appears fine, but knowing Tako, she decides she should ask anyway. She doesn't want him to carry on with anything he's not happy with just for her sake.]

No this- this is perfect. I love it. I want to, really.

[ his voice has this eager to please, tone, and almost sounds a little excited. he really does want to do this, the question was... ]

You sure you wanna'?

[She nods.]

I'm sure.

[The smile on her face falters as seriousness seeps into her expression. Kelly drops her gaze and places a hand gingerly upon one of Tako's arm tentacles, making long, light, hopefully reassuring strokes with her fingertips.]

If...I do need to stop... [She looks back at him again, her eyes full of earnest.] ...Then, you know it's not because of you, right? It's only...well, you know by now how I am with this sort of thing...

Yeah. I know. [ his tone is soft, quiet. ]

I don't have a lot of experience with this sort of thing- [ re: none. ]

-but if I do anything wrong, let me know, alright? Don't just run off okay? I wanna' talk or- you know, whatever.

[ he's never been all that eloquent, or good at expressing his feelings. ]

[It doesn't matter to her that Tako isn't eloquent. Kelly was once used to the confidence and poise of the boys from the drama department, how they play to their scripts and speak sweet nothings with such ease. She had enjoyed that. At least, until she dated Tako and found more honesty in his nervous confessions than she ever had from them.]

I won't run away. I promise. [She looks directly into his eyes, wanting him to see how honest she is. She's not going to hurt him like that again, she's going to stay with him however uncomfortable she becomes and see this through. She presses her lips to his again in a quick kiss before drawing back, the hand at Tako's tentacle shifting upward over his shoulder and to the back of his neck, her fingers drawing lightly through his hair.]

You know, I've never felt this comfortable with anyone before. But let's take it a little slow...I don't want to rush this.

...me neither, not counting that I've never been this close with anyone else before.

[ he just felt safe with her, safe enough that he didn't have to even worry about retracting his tentacles. it kind of felt like stretching. ]

I don't think I could move fast if I tried, I wanna' savour every second.

[She laughs softly.]

Same here. Just getting to be here with you like this, it's lovely.

[Her hands are on the move again, her fingertips trailing down across the fabric of Tako's shirt. She can't settle on just one place to focus on, having to remind herself to be patient as she spreads her hand upon his chest. She wants to explore his entire body and show love to every previously unloved inch of skin with soft caresses and kisses. Hazarding something a little bolder, Kelly gently nudges Tako's chin up so his throat is exposed to her nose and lips. She plants a safe, light kiss just below his Adam's apple, before shifting upward to settle a warmer kiss under his jawline.]
