[There's not much further to go. Clarissa readies Magmar's pokeball and keeps it clutched in her hand, expecting to meet opposition at the exit. She slows down the pace as they ascend the stairs towards the surface, tense and alert...but at the top there are just a pair of Grunts. They look relieved to see the heir has been successfully gotten back, though there's little apparent concern for Silver's actual well-being. Something belonging to the Team has been returned to them, that's all they see.
Clarissa exchanges words with them, tells them to call off the others and get the hell back to base, as well as to alert the higher-ups about what happened. Archer and the others will not be happy about any of this and heads will roll for it (possibly Clarissa's too for acting recklessly on her own, but she'll worry about that later).
She pulls Silver out into the frigid night air, too busy returning Blastoise to his ball and clipping it and Magmar's back to her belt to feel relief at being away from all that stifling concrete and artificial light.]
