[Whether or not Maxie intended that to be comforting is irrelevant; it's a very comforting thought. Of course Maxie has his own reasons for going after Geechisu, but at least Archie can pretend it's an act of revenge. ...It makes him feel a bit better about all this, alright?] Glad... Glad to hear it.
[For all the time he's known Maxie, Archie's known one thing: That Maxie doesn't care. He's made it plain on several occasions, and even when he hasn't flat-out said it, it's been obvious. Archie doesn't actually feel the touch on his shoulder - he's lost almost all feeling in general by now which is... rather nice in a way; at least he's no longer in pain - but he can clearly see it. He's always operated under the assumption that Maxie was just as averse to touch as he is. It's certainly unexpected, but Archie can't say he doesn't like it. It's... somehow or other even more comforting than the words.]
Yeah... you know I... enjoyed 'em too. [If by "battling" Maxie's attempting to turn this into a metaphor or something. Archie can't exactly follow it, but he really has enjoyed all the time he's spent with Maxie.]
