["Make things worse"... It kind of does and doesn't for him in a way that's very hard to explain. He's moderately numb both from his physical wounds and his emotions. He almost landed on hysterics but his defense mechanism kicked in just in time, right as he got back up on his knees and soon to his feet with misguided balance. He's dizzy... but he knows he isn't dying; the amount of blood he's losing isn't comparable to what's ahead of him.

He can kind of feel the tension in his legs as he heads his way over to Gold. What will he do after this? Can he carry you back somewhere, anywhere and save you? Give you somewhere comfortable? Or is it pointless from this point? Where would he even go? ....]
